Before you upload
A calm preflight for your print file.
Use this as a practical starting point. The final requirements can vary by product and should be confirmed against its specifications.
- Use the finished size shown for the product and keep important text or logos comfortably inside the trim edge.
- Include bleed when the artwork runs to the edge. If you are unsure of the amount, ask before placing an order.
- Supply crisp images at a suitable resolution and convert or embed fonts where your export workflow allows it.
- Review colors, spelling, page order, and orientation before approval. A screen preview cannot match every paper or ink combination.
- For apparel and packaging, keep artwork aligned to the chosen product template and check any transparent areas carefully.
Export with intention
Use a print-ready export when possible, keep the page order correct, and open the exported file once to review it at 100%.
Design for the finished piece
Consider how the item will be held, folded, worn, opened, or seen from a distance—not only how it looks on a canvas.
Still unsure? Keep your source file safe and note what you want the finished piece to do. That context is often as useful as the export itself.
